This map service contains raw data used as indicators for local capacity, partner capacity, FS capacity and revenue potential to create a national Partnership Readiness Index by FS Admin Unit. This Partnership Readiness Layer is used together with the Watershed Needs Index to indicate areas where use of conservation finance tools can be further explored. The layer is not intended to be used to identify suitability of specific project locations on the ground.
We began with FS Admin Units as the base mapping unit. The 14 input data layers listed below were acquired, prepared and summarized by FS admin Unit. These 14 indicators were then compiled into a single layer and the individual indicators were weighted to calculate an overall Partnership Readiness Index by Admin Unit. |
