Service Description: These data represent rangeland production estimated from the Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) sensor processed within the above ground production subroutine from the Rangeland Vegetation Simulator (RVS). Data represent the time period from 2000 to 2023 and units are in pounds per acre. A richer description of these data that have been spatially subset to Region 5 of the USFS can be found at Reeves (2017). Coefficient of variation was calculated using the mean and standard deviation from all years of data.
