Service Description: A map service on the www that depicts bull trout eDNA sample point locations and lab results from 2014-2020. These points can to guide your eDNA surveys for determining the occurrence of bull trout in spawning and rearing habitats anywhere throughout their historical range in the Northwest. It can also guide conservation planning of bull trout habitat. Most of the potential bull trout streams (greater than 5,000) were identified using the Climate Shield habitat occupancy model developed from less than 4,000 fish surveys in 512 streams (Isaak et al. 2015), but USFWS-designated critical habitats for bull trout spawning and rearing are also shown on the maps.
