Alternatives O and P are similar in that they would recognize and protect outstanding recreation opportunities in a semi-primitive setting for the recreation area, but the boundaries and acreages vary. In Alternative O is 99,000 acres, and in Alterative P the recreation area is 82,800 acres. Both alternative’s would recognize and protect outstanding recreation opportunities in a semi-primitive setting for the recreation area. The smaller acreage size in alternative P is to allow for continued motorized and mechanized recreation opportunities in that area. |
