Service Description: Since 2005, Region 6 has been implementing the Regional Aquatic Restoration Strategy (ARS). Through that process, the Region identified ?Priority River Basins? (6-digit hydrologic units) and Forests selected ?Focus Watersheds? (10-digit hydrologic units) in which investments for active watershed/aquatic restoration were being focused at Regional and Forest scales, respectively. Focus Watersheds and Priority Watersheds are subject to change over time as restoration work is completed or as management needs/opportunities change.
