Description: This dataset is a compilation of forest insect, disease and abiotic damage mapped by aerial detection surveys on forested areas in the United States. It is a Forest Health Protection (FHP) dataset. Point data is collected using the Digital Mobile Sketch Mapping (DMSM) system. Points are recommended for small clusters of tree damage where extent of damage is less important than recording a location. All the features in this dataset have a one-to-one relationship with their attributes (flat).
