Service Description: A map service on the www depicting Western Bark Beetle Strategy (WBBS) activities reported through the U.S. Forest Service FACTS database. Activities include forestlands treated using timber sales to achieve healthier conditions; forestland vegetation improved; forestland vegetation established; vegetation improved by treatment for noxious weeds or invasive plants and hazardous fuels treated to reduce the risk of catastrophic wildland fire. These activities address the three WBBS goals: human safety, forest recovery, and long-term forest resiliency. The map service uses a File Geodatabase data source with Web Mercator projection.
